WILLIAM CLARKE CABINET MAKER

Classically trained in fine cabinetry at The North Bennet St. School in Boston, Mass, William Clarke has been working from his cooperative shop, 'The Wood Works' in Portsmouth, NH since 1978. His work ranges from unique designs to reproductions and contemporary interpretations of traditional styles. While much of his work includes large scale architectural structures for churches, synagogues and private schools, William's main focus is on private furniture commissions. He often collaborates with his brother, David Clarke, on carved furniture and relief work.
